Jacqueline! From day one, you were warm and friendly to me (just what I needed as a lost freshman) and you still are. You always give good advice, and you are such a talented, intelligent, kind, and remarkable person. I’m going to miss you so much next year! Kill it at Princeton.

From: Gabby A.

To: Izzy P.

Dear Isabelle, Although you may be short, I still look up to you (haha). I will miss our drives, watching Taken until 3am, and our facetimes. You are such an amazing person and I am so proud of everything you have done this year. Wisconsin got a good one. Thank you for the constant entertainment and for always being there for me. You rock.

To my math twin: I'm going to miss chilling with you in the 2nd floor CFI hallway and in math when the other three ditch us. You and your surface drawing skills are truly an inspiration. Sorry for always volunteering you for the board but you know you loved it. Ok but actually I'm really going to miss you and don't forget to come visit me when you're at umich engineering it up <3 <3

You've been an awesome contributor and developer of Starboard, Hannah. Your early articles on Ballast Online-- recipes, lists, funny gifs-- helped bring us where we are today.

Jacqueline- I couldn't have asked for a better senior sister!!! You are so sweet, talented, and smart! I had so much fun singing in Chorale and Cabaret with you and I can't wait for Ireland. I know this is cheesey as heck but you are such a good role model and I'm so glad that I got to know you. I hope you have an awesome time at Princeton (!!!) and that we keep in touch! Love you!!!

From: Tyler N.

To: Hannah O.

HANNAH!!! What will I do if I don't have anyone to scare at KP when you're gone?? Such a shame. I'll miss you much more than you know! Love you

You've been an amazing Starboard EIC! I've been so lucky to witness your journey, and you have seen this project through a transformative and important time. You will be missed! I'm adding a picture of one of the many experiments you and your peers have inspired me to try in the past few years (from a Google make-your-own-emoji program)

Thanks for everything you do for me, can't wait to visit every weekend!! I'll miss you like crazy and love you always <3 :)

From: Whitney G.

To: Jacqueline P.

I love you, Jacqueline! Even though we never actually found a time to have lunch together, we had a great time this year. I'm so happy that I got to meet you, get to know you and hear you sing, because have you HEARD yourself?? Seriously though, you're SUPER talented. And because of you, I've learned how to be a great senior: bring your freshman/freshmen Dunkin' Donuts on the first day! :) Or to just be kind to everyone, not just your friends. I'm running out of words now, and there's so much more to say, but I'm only allowed to use up to 125 words, so: I love you and will miss you so much! Good luck at Princeton! (You won't need it though)

To: Natalie R.

Hi Natalie! Thanks for saying hi to me in the halls all these years. When I was a freshman and you a sophomore in kp singers, although it was just a small thing, when you said hi to me it was quite a big deal, and it made me inspired to want to spread the same acts of kindness to others.

From: Isabel K.

To: Sophia R.

Hey Sophia, last year when we did Field Hockey and Fencing together was so fun! Fencing was pretty rough, and we always died doing like 50 push ups after messing up, but having exciting car rides home with you was always the best part. I think we can all agree that saber is the best weapon! I know that you will be amazing at whatever school you pick to go next year! Good luck and I will miss you!

From: Elizabeth M.

You are an amazing singer and I am so happy that you were my senior sister this year!! Good Luck at college!!!

Sophia! You are the goat. I am so proud of everything you have done this year and I am so happy that you are going to umich!! You are someone I feel so comfortable talking to and I will miss you so much next year. Thank you for making fun of Izzy with me. You will do big things next year my friend.

From: Isabel K.

To: Marina R.

Hey Marina, I'm going to miss you so much next year! You really made me feel welcome here my freshman year on Field Hockey and Fencing! Our long chats about conspiracy theories and the universe were always a good time! I especially loved when we hung out together at the Climate Change Conference last year! I truly believe Boulder is going to be a great place for you and your ~nature girl~ spirit. I hope someday you will be happily settled on a horse ranch out in nature!

From: Molly K.

To: Jacqueline P.

Jacqueline, thanks for being so welcoming to me this whole year. Talking to you for a minute or two in the hallway always brightens my day, and I'm really glad I've gotten to know you. I wish you the best of luck next year; I know you're going to do great. I'll miss you! Alex

Before you go, I want to thank you for making my first year of Mock Trial unforgettable. When I walked into my audition, I was terrified of this big, scary club with the big, scary upperclassmen. However, after getting to know you and how sweet you are, Mock Trial began to feel like home. From laughing about the Seton Hall lawyer asking me if I was “high RIGHT now” at our first scrimmage to Joey DiAngelo, I will always have great memories of 2018 Mock Trial. I hope you will too! You are an incredible lawyer. You are an incredible person (I’m serious, you’re like the sweetest person that I’ve ever met). And I can’t wait to see the fantastic things that you accomplish in the future. Good luck at Princeton!

Emma Verpoucke and I first became friends when she recognized me as a fellow #ladydragon in urban outfitters in NYC and kicked me...This kick kicked off haha our friendship <3 I will 5ever miss chasing her down the hallway because she stole my custom blue raspberry lip balm and or having to be sent home by the nurse because when receiving one of her loving hugs I whacked myself so hard in the face that a "cyclone" (as the nurse called it) formed in the middle of my forehead. You'll always be my SHISTER <3 Have fun in college next year, try not to hurt anyone else xoxoox

From: Stacey E.

To: Emma V.

Emma. I love you. Thanks for watching over me, letting me wear your ~legendary~ AF1s, and most importantly, being my bestest friend. I'm never gonna forget you scooping me for our late night drives while blasting music and wasting your gas because we have no sense of direction. I genuinely hope you never listen to 1950 or see Peppa Pig without thinkin of me. You've shown me how to have a good time and I literally don't know how I'm gonna manage without having you around to make me laugh. Thanks for not getting tired of me and listening to all my wildest thoughts. Expect a knock at your door while you're having the time of your life at WashU. Ik hou van je ;)

From: Rachel E.

To: Emma V.

Hi Emma!! Thanks for harassing me in the halls, making me laugh all the time, and for driving me and Aya back to school from dunkin after school that one time. You’re one of a kind. I’ll never forget the Peppa Pig videos we DM each other, mostly because they scarred me :// Love you to Belg and back!! <33

MARY WOODALL. Thank you for being an important member of the #saveferris society. You have been someone that I have looked up to since literally day 1 of school in which you lent me your field hockey still in a time of need. You are always nice to everyone and always have something meaningful to say. I know that you are going to have an amazing experience at college, and I am so excited to see what you will do. You will always be my favorite person :)

I am so grateful for all the time we have gotten to share these past three years! Thank you for all of your words of wisdom and for always making me feel loved. You are such an amazing person and I have no doubt you are going to do amazing things in the future! Thank you for always being there for me and for just being you! Don't forget me in college!
