Camp buddeconnect summer job applications deadline has been extended to May 25th! Camp BuddEConnect is a project of West Morris Soccer Club that hosts a virtual summer camp for children with special needs. It is a student-led and non-profit organization that offers kids the opportunity for social interaction, physical activity, personal connection, and fun from the comfort of their own home! Camp BuddEConnect is a virtual (zoom-based) summer camp that lasts for six weeks from late June to early August! Link to the slideshow outlining the program and counselor job! Counselor Job Description: Applications for a paid counselor position are open now and close on MAY 25th! Camp counselors (via zoom) socialize with children, lead the kids through arts and crafts, sing alongs, freeze dance, video games, and more! Counselors are to work 4-6 weeks of camp from 2-4:30pm Monday-Friday as well as attend 2 mandatory training sessions. Requirements: We are looking for service-minded high-school or college students who are enthusiastic, caring, dedicated, and would love to work with kids with special needs! Disability Education Alliance

On Tuesday, May 17, DEA is hosting Celebrate Neurodiversity Day. Freshmen should wear blue, sophomores yellow, juniors red, seniors green, and teachers white. In the morning, you will get a sticker with the neurodivergent infinity sign on it. At 10:30am we are holding a Q&A panel to hear from ND students and faculty so don’t forget to write your questions on this form! Throughout the day there will be QR codes posted around the school that you can scan to participate in the trivia contest (the winner gets a Dunkin gift card).

Lacrosse

The other day we beat Blair so congrats to everyone who played! It was a great win since we had lost to them towards the beginning of our season. We have a preps game against Oak Knoll this Saturday so please come out and support!
