APICA

May is Asian/Pacific-Islander Month! Throughout the month, we will have people share out to the upper school about what their heritage means to them, a famous Asian/Pacific-Islander historical figure, etc. Adithi started this with her poem about how she sees India. Also, APICA will be hosting our very first APICA Night on Tuesday, May 21st from 6-8! More details to come!

Ms. Murphy

As an Upper School, we need to lift each other up and not tear each other up. I need you to ask yourselves the following before you repeat something you hear: Is it kind? Is it true? Is it necessary? I want you to think about living by the four pillars - how does talking behind someone's back living with the 4 pillars? So, my point is to shut things down when you hear it. Stand up for each other! Where are you holding the bar in our community?

Windward

The winner of the vanishing point contest is… Tanmayee Talla! Thank you to all who submitted!

Ms. Gordon

AP exams start next week! AP students, please keep checking your e-mail in case anything changes regarding start time or locations. Be mindful of hallway noise near the Library. Lastly, the Writing Center will be closed other than for Writing Center appointments until May 21.
