Mrs. Murphy’s Weekly Updates: Here

Mrs. Murphy

There are no drinks, besides water, or backpacks allowed in the great room. Everyone should try to stick more to the dress code. It is very lenient but I have noticed a lot of people still disregarding it.

Alumna Maggie Stanton (class of 2020) is running in the Chicago Marathon in October for Shriners Hospital which treats children who have orthopedic and spinal cord injuries, burns, and cleft lip and palate regardless of the family’s ability to pay! She needs to raise a certain amount to run, it’s a great cause, and she would really appreciate your support! Please click on this link to donate.

Kaleidoscopes

Kaleidoscopes is the affinity group for students of color in the Primary School and for anyone who wants to learn more about diversity, equity, and inclusion. Upper schoolers have the opportunity to be mentors for the primary school students which means helping them with crafts, projects, reading them stories, and just having fun with them. It's very low commitment, we meet once a month and you do not need to go to every meeting. I'll be sending out a google form today so please respond if you are interested in being a mentor!

Varsity Cross Country

Congratulations to the varsity cross country team for winning the Back to the Mountain Invitational Meet this past Saturday.
