Black History Month
Mr. Thornhill talked about what he loves most about being Black, touching on the celebration of Kwanzaa and being able to inspire the next generation of Black classical musicians. Mr Stevenson also spoke on the significance of the song Yardcord by Born Jamericans and what being American truly means to him.
Ms. Hager
Ms. Hager kicked off the 3rd Trimester with some comments acknowledging student accomplishments of the 2nd Trimester, from the Clue production to student-led Black History Month activities and many more wonderful achievements. She also offered an opportunity to schedule meetings with her via the following Calendly link if students would like to discuss any concerns with her.
Dr. Barovero
Dr. Barovero informed students of the new policy regarding use of ChatGPT and other AI tools: students must have express permission from a teacher to use AI tools for an assignment and even then are required to cite their use. Failure to do so will be considered an Honor Code Violation. A written statement with more details will be released to students soon.
