Tonight is the opening night for the Winter Play, She Kills Monsters! Tickets are sold out for opening night, but you can still grab tickets for the Saturday (2/24) show while they remain. Please wish our cast and crew members luck!

Judiciary
A reminder that you should be wearing your lanyard at all times throughout the day! This is an important safety measure. If you forget your lanyard, you can always stop by the front desk to get a loaner for the day.
Mock Trial
We’re so excited to announce that, for the first time in 5 years, the Kent Place Mock Trial team beat Oratory in county finals and have been crowned Union County champs! We will be moving on to the regional competition starting next week.
Maya Yie
If you are at all interested in biology, consider participating in the International Biology Battle! The competition will consist of a short individual pre-test followed by a single-elimination quiz-bowl-styled team biology bowl (teams of 2 to 4) covering biology topics also covered in the USABO (USA Biology Olympiad). It will take place on Saturday, 4/13/24. More information can be found on their website, and you can get sample questions here. Registration closes March 13, 2024. Please put your name in this document by Monday, February 26, if you would like to sign up! (Note: If you are in KP Singers or Chamber Singers, there is a workshop with NJYC that day and you will not be able to participate in the Biology Battle.)
Hackathon
The 3rd annual Kent Place Hackathon will be held on Saturday, April 6th from 9am-6pm! This will be a fun and educational event where you’ll get the chance to create and present a coding project in a collaborative environment. People of all levels of coding experience are welcome, and the Hackathon is a great way to practice your coding skills or learn some new ones. More information about signing up will be coming soon!
