Dr. Galambos

If you would like to discuss the events of the U.S. Open finals with Dr. Galambos, visit her in the Head’s Study (CFI) during lunch!

Eve and Margot Miller

This Saturday at the Woodland in Maplewood is the 4th Robert J. Miller Oysterfest! The event is in honor of our father who passed away from Melanoma in 2014. There will be music, food trucks, sun screenings and many more things! All of the money raised will go to Melanoma Research and families in need. Last year we raised over $100,000 and detected three cases of early stage Melanoma. It would be amazing if you could come or donate! This is the link to the website. Thank you!

Cross Country

Cross Country came in third place at the Newark Academy Invitational!

Dr. Porterfield

The Writing Center is open for appointments! Please visit our "Group" on MyKPS to find the schedule where you can make appointments. This trimester, Dr. Cusick and Dr. Porterfield will be in the Writing Center, and we are excited to work with you as you brainstorm ideas, refine arguments, gather evidence, cite sources, analyze, interpret, edit, proofread, and do all the other cognitive tasks that make up the writing process. If you've never visited before, please feel welcome! We have a new, bigger space on the second floor of the upper school next to Dr. Rezach's office.

Robodragons

Hi everyone, the Kent Place Robotics team is having our first meeting next Monday 9/17. We are specifically looking for anyone who is interested in finance or social media, but it’s open to everyone, especially freshmen! We meet from 6-8 pm on Mondays and Fridays in the Tech Hub. We’ll be sending out an email with this information, and you can find us at Club Fair too!

Lit Loose & BCA

Lit Loose (KP's book club) and BCA (KP's Black Cultural Association) will be teaming up to read and discuss The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas! Our meeting will be later this fall, so give it a read!
