Advancement Office
Ms. Fisher introduced the Kent Place Advancement Team and spoke about their mission, which included the important aspect of philanthropy. Also, since the annual Founder’s Day is coming up, she gave opportunities for student involvement! Ms. Jones
On Monday, Tuesday, and Friday of next week, there will be performances held in the Great Room during the 10:30 break to honor Black History Month! Additionally, keep the DEIB Word of the Month, justice, in mind as you progress through this February.
Mock Trial
Congrats to our Plaintiff and Defense teams, who both won their competitions this week! Our next rounds of competition will be held during the week of 2/20, so wish any Mock Trial team members you know good luck!
Lily Gabriel
Tickets for the Winter play, Clue, are on sale! We are performing on February 24th & 25th at 7:30pm and we’re expecting a big audience so get them quick! Click on this link to purchase tickets. They are $5 for KPS students and faculty and $10 for general admission.
Super Bowl Spirit
Monday, 2/13 is going to be a Super Bowl spirit day! Wear your favorite team’s jersey, or get creative by dressing up as a commercial or halftime performance!
Track
Orders for track merch have officially been opened! We want to send in the orders for the track merch by Monday, February 13th, so please add your name to this spreadsheet if you'd like to be included. Both the crewneck and the sweatpants are $40 each (can be paid with student account, cash, check, apple pay, or credit/debit card). The crewneck sizing is unisex and the pants are in women's. Again, we're trying to get this order ASAP so please add your name to the sheet if you plan on purchasing merch.
