Ms. Murphy’s Weekly Announcements: here
Ms. Hager
I’ve begun my classroom observations for the year- I’ll just sit in classes for 10-15 minutes to observe! Also, please be sure to follow all rules of the KPS dress code, especially avoiding any text on shirts other than KPS or a small logo. Majors will be given out if infractions continue!
LGBT History Month
Charlotte Grushkin talked about the history of gay vampires in media and how featuring queer characters in paranormal literature was an alternative method for people to write about the queer community without fear of being attacked.
Diwali Night
Kent Place Diwali Night will be on November 2 from 5:30-7:30 in the Great Room! There will be lots of food, drinks, crafts, performances and henna. We also need student volunteers to set up, help the younger kids, and perform, so please check out our email after Morning Meeting to sign up. Feel free to email Dvita (bhattacharyad25@kentplace.org) or Sophia (gandhis25@kentplace.org) with any questions. Hope to see you there!
