Track Throwers
Winter and Spring Track would just like to put it out there that there is a group called Throwers. This encompasses shot put, javelin, and discus. Winter track holds shot put practice and spring track holds all three. To join, enter in track and on the first day find either Eileen Cohn or Julie Soldat and we guide you to throwing! It is a super niche group and it's tons of fun. If you want to get jacked, throwing is for you. See you soon!
Cabaret
Hello! Kent Place Chorale is having the cabaret again this year! For those of you who don't know what it is, it is a fundraising event that raises money for the choral global trip scholarship fund. During the Cabaret, parents and students are served little pastries and tea while members of Chorale perform songs that they prepared! We will have great music for example, Somewhere Over the Rainbow. It will be on Friday, November 8th at 7-8 pm in the Field House. For RSVP, admission for students is $10, the admission for parents and adults is $50, and Faculty and Staff give 50% off, so the admission for you is $25! Please RSVP by November 1st, so by this Friday, since we need to know how many tables and food we need. Later, we will send the RSVP form though email. Thank you!

Maurice is coming for the 9th graders on Friday, November 15 from 5:30 - 7:30. Dinner and dessert will be served. An RSVP will be sent out this week.
DEI Alliance
The DEI Alliance will be having an introductory meeting today in the Great Room at 10:30 (Conference). This meeting is really for freshmen and new students! We are going to be explaining what this alliance is and each of our individual clubs! We hope to see you there!

Last LGBTQ+ History Month Announcement and Thank you for Assembly:"Since LGBT history is ever-evolving, we thought it was important to present some recent history for the community today. Many of you might remember the day in June, 2015, when the Supreme Court passed marriage equality in all 50 states.The case that prompted this landmark decision was Obergefell v. Hodges. Obergefell-- or the petioners-- were 14 same-sex couples, who were suing their repective Federal District Courts for discrimination. In a 5-4 decision, the court ruled in favor of Obergefell and asserted that the fundamental liberties under the Fourteenth Amendment applied to the right to marry. This decision made marriage equality possible throughout America. While LGBTQ+ history consists of a lot more than marriage equality, it was a very important step in the LGBTQ+ rights movement that can’t be overlooked."

Hi Everyone, Engineering Club will be having a meeting on Thursday October 31st, Halloween! In the theme of Halloween, we will be having a challenge for who can build the tallest structure that can balance a pumpkin! We will be in the Innovation Lab (Room 118) and we will have food!!!!
