Welcome to the webpage for the KPS Gender and Sexuality Alliance, a fun, safe, inclusive space for LGBT+ students and allies. GSA meets on A-week Mondays in Dr. Schwartz's room (233), and everyone is always welcome.

The Trevor Project (a mental health resource for LGBT+ youth, this website can connect you to support via chat, text, a 24/7 telephone hotline with trained counselors, or readable resources) 

 

The It Gets Better Project (videos to "uplift and empower" LGBT+ youth)

TGNC Allyship (a document that gives a basic but comprehensive explanation of how to be an ally to the transgender and gender-nonconforming community)

The Genderbread Person  (a free online resource for understanding gender identity, gender expression, anatomical sex, and attraction)

GLSEN (a non-profit organization working to create and support safe schools for all students, this website has many educational resources)
